Cake, Cake and More Cake

Seems like there have been a lot of cake posts in the last week...

Ryan has perfected the messy cake eating we would have expected for his 1st birthday. He was kind enough to share once again. He also managed to get cake pretty much every where he could reach including the back of his head. We did this all outside for easy clean up with a hose. Tempting as it was to hose him off too, we striped him and sent him right for a bath.

Things to think about 1) Ms. Melanie is VERY BRAVE! Not only did she get close to Ryan and a handful of cake, but she helped undress the cake covered baby. 2) The dog new exactly where to sit as always. You can see his head in several of the pictures while he waits for cake to fall. 3) Ryan is very serious about many things and cake eating is no different. When he was done, he wanted to be sure we all knew it and tossed his cake overboard. Thankfully, we had our own adult cake to eat.

After bath, Ryan opened one more present from Ms. Jenn, Mr. Jason and Christian. Opening the wrapping was a lot of fun (getting the helicopter out of the box, not so much but there are no pictures of that excitement).
